The town is at Km 63 of the Lima - Canta highway. Every August 30th, Santa Rosa de Lima Day and national holiday, receives thousands of Catholics. As in the church and capital convent that bears his name, in that town there is a 'Well of Desires' where the believers place their letters fervently asking for some miracle or favor.
